What a hidden gem. Highly recommend. Quirky and located in the Diocletian palace (just) so you can say you've technically stayed in a palace! Sun terrace on the top floor has amazing 360 degree views (loungers, chairs and bar seats available). Not that hard to find with Google but look for the large glass door on the left when Google says you've arrived (not up the stairs to the right). Room was stunning and spacious. Cosy little balcony overlooking cafe. A little noise from the city in the evening and church bells in the morning.
The Hotel was great and the location was the best! We stayed in the last floor, the room was great and the bathroom was great with good shower and renovated. Friendly staff! Breakfast is not in the hotel and we did not have time to go to the place but they prepared a basket with sandwiche for us every day and delivered in our room.
No way is this hotel a four star. The place itself is ‘quaint’ as they describe it but in a contrived Game of Thrones way. Our room, 102 was roomy but the shower leaked, the basin took ages to drain, the safe didn’t work and there was absolutely nowhere to put anything in the bathroom. The towels were clean but thin and stained. No restaurant, no breakfast, no ice. The bottle opener was broken. A male member of staff let himself into the room without knocking whilst I was inside. Housekeeping forgot to clean the room, later rectified when I complained. The location is perfect but would I stay here again or recommend it. No.
Friendly and helpful staff who went beyond the call of duty to help us. The hotel is stylishly decorated, spotless, and conveniently situated in the old town.
Lovely hotel.Deluxe room not as expected..Much smaller than photos. Bathroom very small.No where to put any toiletries.Plus side,comfortable bed and great location.
